YORK was the first-ever laboratory in NYC to be licensed by NELAC to analyze volatile organic compounds in soil and water. Approved for TO-15 Air analyses in late 2016 and PFAS in early 2019, these expansions increased YORK’s capacity to handle “Rush TAT” and propelled the company’s commitment to be the Northeast U.S. environmental laboratory of choice for analysis of PFAS and emerging contaminants.
YORK has PFAS licensing in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Because of rapid contamination of drinking water from PFAS, YORK launched its drinking water testing segment in 2022, and has steadily expanded that business with the acquisition of two laboratories specializing in drinking water analysis.
