With roots in air monitoring that predate the creation of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, YORK built custom mobile laboratories. For three decades YORK chemists and engineers worked from the Stamford, CT laboratory on countless high profile projects in the fast changing industry during this time.

YORK is the first-ever laboratory in NYC to be licensed by NELAC to analyze volatile organic compounds in soil and water.  Approved for TO-15 Air analyses in late 2016 and PFAS in early 2019, these expansions increase YORK’s capacity to handle “Rush TAT”, as well as increase the company’s presence and commitment to be the New York City environmental laboratory of choice.
