York Analytical announced today the appointment of Patty Werner-Els as General Manager of Drinking Water Operations, and the addition of three stellar laboratory professionals in Sales, PFAS Operations, and Project Management.
On the steady infusion of senior talent on the York-ALS team, Michael J. Patty Werner-Els has been an invaluable member of the senior staff since joining York in 2016 as Client Services Director, with extensive leadership experience as president of a Long Island-based environmental testing laboratory, and as chief science officer at a water treatment company.
“We are fortunate to have a senior leader that has the experience and communication skills to help expand our fast growth in the drinking water market in New Jersey, Connecticut and New York,” says Michael J. Beckerich.
Ms. Els will lead dedicated drinking water teams at laboratories in Toms River, NJ and Newtown, CT, set the strategic vision for expansion, and ensure operations are industry-best and scalable.

Nicole Bergman: Regional Sales Director
Nicole recently joined the York-ALS senior team as Regional Sales Director, bringing with her over 10 years of experience in the environmental laboratory industry where she has focused on business development and growing client relationships while providing outstanding technical knowledge and account management services.
“Nicole is York’s first ever head of sales,” says Michael J. Beckerich, “and she will build on our unique team relationship-centric model of doing business that has contributed to our consistent expansion throughout the region.”

Michelle Onofrio: Technical Director, PFAS Team Leader
Team York is excited to bring on Michelle Onofrio in a newly created position of Technical Director, PFAS Team Leader. Michelle is responsible for leading York-ALS’s PFAS operations that are anchored in Tom River, NJ and Queens, NY.
Michelle‘s enthusiasm and proven leadership skills leading Organics and Volatile Organics departments at a national laboratory will help York accelerate high-impact PFAS programs that deliver best-in-class results for clients.
