YORK has named Joseph Ravino Laboratory Director of its flagship New Jersey facility in Toms River to continue to lead the expansion of the laboratory it acquired in January 2023.

“The appointment of Joe Ravino as Laboratory Director on the York Analytical (now ALS) team is a tremendous step toward expanding our industry-leading approach in NJ,” says York President Michael J. Beckerich.  “In addition to Joe’s significant experience managing a full-service NELAC laboratory, his ability to help advance our PFAS operation in this dynamic climate is a priceless skill.  Our capacity in the Toms River laboratory has grown leaps and bounds with updated technology and new staff.”

Ravino joined the York New Jersey team to in March 2023 to lead the development and management of the Toms River laboratory facilities that York acquired and expanded in 2023-24.  He has helped unite the two existing laboratories under one certification and has led the additions of certifications for PFAS and other analyses.

His previous experience included serving as Organics Director in charge of a large staff of chemists at a well-respected regional laboratory, and as Quality Assurance Officer with a focus on Organic analyses.
