The York-ALS team has expanded its client services operations in the Northeast, opening a major new service hub in Albany, NY. The facility is home to field staff, bottle order fulfillment, sample processing operations and the York-ALS industry-leading courier service.

“Typically, following the acquisition of a service business like ours, the trend has been to consolidate staff and shut down facilities to gain financial efficiencies, often negatively impacting client services,” says Michael J. Beckerich, President of York-ALS.

“Counter to this trend, ALS has demonstrated its commitment to providing comprehensive environmental testing services throughout the Northeast, particularly for PFAS contamination that has long been present around industrial and military sites from Buffalo to Boston to Brooklyn.”

Leading the new Albany facility is Dina Ayers, a strong manager with 30 years’ experience in the environmental laboratory industry in the Capital region: “Our new service center is designed to make clients’ lives easier and will be central to our commitment of delivering the fastest turnaround times.”
